Originally written for a brief interlude / transition piece for a full length album, this track was eventually fleshed out with some tongue in cheek lyrics about a forthcoming Pentecostal reckoning. It also draws inspiration from (and is in a sense, a tribute to) Johnny Cash's "The Man Comes Around."
This features a questionable background vocal by Shawn Avery, who was attempting some sort of June Carter mojo.
